At your initial session we will,
Go through your intake form, define some goals and I will take the time to listen and understand your main concerns. This may include looking at postural and mobility function.
You then hop on the table, and I will do some initial work to calm your nervous system. This is the most important thing that we do first as we need to bring your body back online. So that your nervous system can communicate as it was designed to, with all parts of your body.
At the end of your session, we will have a quick chat about the things that came up and discuss a plan to move forward.
You can ask any me questions and you may have some take-home actions to help support your session.

You will need,
To have filled out your ‘Client Intake Form’ either prior to first session or bring it with you to your first session.
To wear some comfortable clothes that you can move around in (yes, you will keep your clothes on, just not your shoes)
To have made sure that you had at least a glass of water (you don’t need too much) prior to your session. Your body won’t be able to communicate properly with me if you are not hydrated.

Just like a visit to a physio, chiro or massage therapist your body may experience a range of sensations after a session as it self-adjusts. People can experience any of the following,
A feeling of light headedness
A temporary increase in level of pain or a shift in the level of pain
Techniques that work with your brain or nervous system can make many people very fatigued/ tired. It is best to allow time on the other side of your session for this and honor your body’s need to rest, relax or sleep as your brain goes into processing information.
Some people experience shifts in mood. You may leave feeling more uplifted, happier and later have some sort of temporary emotional release such as crying, anger, feelings of sadness. Again, please be kind to yourself, and advise others that you have had a kinesiology session, and emotions are coming up for you to release.
Some people don’t feel or experience anything at all initially and it may take days or weeks to notice more subtle changes as your body processes things in a way that is comfortable to you. It is always a good idea to stay well hydrated following your session. Your neurotransmitters, body and detoxification pathways will thank you for it.

Payments can be made by direct bank deposit prior to your session or by cash at your session.

Every person and issue is different. Some people may see change after just one session, while others may take a few more working with difficult or more complex problems. This isn’t a quick fix or a magic pill. We never force things to happen against the body’s own innate healing wisdom and some people and bodies require more sessions or longer times between sessions to integrate and heal.
